Quilted Jackets have been floating around my head for all last year. I even tried to sew one - I'll share it here at some point but it turned into a Robin Hood coat not exactly what I envisioned at the outset.
So when I came across this adorable granny jacket on the Choose App it was an easy add to cart.
Choose is a French app that recently launched a US version. The app is Free to download and curates sales with beautiful small brands. There are new sales popping up on the app daily and I've discovered some amazing new favorite small brands to shop and support that I never would have come across without Choose.
This Dilli Grey coat was another find from a new to me brand that I now adore! It's made ethically from beautiful hand dyed cotton. The tag even came with a barcode to scan and see how it was made.
Choose does a great job of highlighting clearly if a brand is fair trade, ethical, mission lead and sustainably conscious so you can shop with confidence and support small makers. The app showcases women's fashion, kid clothes and toys, health and beauty, home decor and even fun finds like cocktail mixers and wall art.
You can save $20 off your first order in the app with my code: ALEXDA
Over Christmas break, my daughter was given this bead kit and she asked me to sit and make a bracelet with her. Came up with this little French inspired friendship bracelet that was so fun to sit and string together with her. "C'est Bien" translates "it is well" and reminds me of the hymn It Is Well with My Soul. It's a good little reminder of why we have peace. I like looking down at my wrist and remembering to rest in the truth because God's got it. Toying with the idea of making something like this to share and sell. What do you think?
