In early January, I had the sneak peek privilege of seeing some of ABLE's new releases planned for spring. This t-shirt dress was at the top of my must try list because it's the same cut and fabric as my favorite cropped striped tee - the Maria Boxy Tee.
I love the new bolder brown stripe and the almost vintage soft and warm hue this dress has. It also comes in a versatile solid black. The fabric is just as thick and buttery soft as the t-shirt version. In most t-shirt dresses, the fabric is a little on the thin side and makes me feel a bit revealed in back. So I love that this dress is a long midi length with a thick quality 100% cotton that provides all the coverage I want with no slip required.
Sizing on the dress runs a bit bigger than the tee shirt version. I went with my regular size and have plenty of room. So If you are a straight fit or want a more curve hugging fit, I'd recommend sizing down. A friend asked me if this might work as a baby bump friendly dress, and with the extra loose room and subtle stretch it offers, I definitely think it would be adorable as a maternity piece for most if not all of your pregnancy.

Jean Jackets and dresses have definitely been done. They pair might feel a bit dated, so to keep it fresh and modernize the pairing here are some tips:
- Belt the dress under the jacket - this is a great option for a t-shirt dress to create shape where there isn't a defined waist.
- Button the first two buttons of the jacket collar and layer with a couple of bling statement necklaces.
- Opt for a more trendy oversized denim jacket or a loose denim shirt.
